Calm, considered pieces for the home

Loam & Linen is a small independent home décor shop based in Coventry in the United Kingdom. We curate lighting, mirrors, textiles and small furnishings in a Scandinavian and Japandi spirit — natural materials, honest shapes, and a quiet palette that is easy to live with. We started Loam & Linen because so much of what is sold for the home is either disposable or priced as though it were a family heirloom. We wanted to sit somewhere sensible in between: pieces that feel considered and last, at prices that do not ask you to remortgage.

How we work

We are a curation-led business rather than a factory. We do not hold a large warehouse of stock in the UK. Instead, we work with a small group of manufacturing partners who make our pieces to order and dispatch them once you have bought them. This keeps our prices lower and means we are not throwing away unsold stock, but it also means delivery takes a little longer than a next-day retailer — usually around ten days to two weeks to the UK. We would always rather be straight with you about that up front than surprise you after you have ordered. Full timings are on our Shipping page.

Our promise

Every order is backed by a 30-day returns policy and a real person at the other end of the inbox. If something arrives damaged, or simply is not right for your space, we will put it right.
